Dr. Michelle Pearlman Explains
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR THE SPORTS NUTRITION PROGRAM?
This program is ideal for those interested in improving their sports performance and recovery whether it’s on the field, in the gym, or working out at home.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR INITIAL SPORTS NUTRITION CONSULTATION
Provide paper copies of any lab work over the preceding six months (pertinent labs include the following: complete blood count (CBC), complete metabolic panel (CMP), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), vitamin D, vitamin B12, urinalysis (UA). If you do not have labs performed within the preceding six months, we can order these for you at the time of your visit.
Bring a list of your medications including over-the-counter supplements and herbals.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE SPORTS NUTRITION CONSULTATION
If you decide you would like to enroll in our Sports Nutrition Program, you will sign up for our membership for a minimum of six months. This is a one-time fee that includes one, 30-minute follow-up visit each month, access to exclusive online content, and the ability to communicate with your provider for real-time feedback through the electronic health portal.
