"I don’t use this term lightly; in fact, I have never used this term before. But taking Wegovy has been a life-altering event not because of the weight loss but because it has spurred my return to health.Since I have been on medication, and it has been four months, I have lost 22 pounds. The weight loss, however, does not tell the complete story. I have been on blood pressure medication for over 15 years and for the first time ever, my primary care physician is considering taking me off some of the blood pressure medications because of my lower blood pressure since I have been on Wegovy. My AIC went from the highest level within the normal range – pre-diabetes – to the lowest level in the normal range. I have lost over 2 inches in waist circumference. My liver enzymes, which were elevated, are now within normal limits. I also have obstructive sleep apnea and with a CPAP machine, I would average 5 hours of sleep a night. Since I have been on Wegovy, I now sleep an average of 7 to 8 hours a night. In general, I feel more rested during the day and I no longer have food cravings. I still have another 20 pounds or so to get to my target weight and I will continue to take Webovy until I get there."

The hormonal levels I had, a decrease in energy, brain fog, my eyes would close on long drives, and I had this kind of general malaise about life in general, just my outlook. And I realized that my T-levels were low. I came to see Dr. Amy Pearlman and you helped me optimize those. So you were able to kind of do a thorough review of my physiology and my blood work. You helped tell me the alternatives and the options that were out there. And there are some choices that I had to make. You helped me start kind of low and realize that I didn't have to kind of go for the high end things yet.
